Near Gutaiha Primary School in Rura police station area of Kanpur Dehat, unknown robbers had committed robbery from a liquor vendor in broad daylight. Police disclosed the incident within 10 hours and arrested two robbers during the encounter.

SP BBGTS Murthy said that the victim is Kamal Sharma, who is a resident of Narsuja village. He was carrying cash from liquor sales. During this time, the robbers in the car parked the car in front of his car and robbed him. As soon as information about the incident was received, the victim informed the Rura police station. Police reached the spot and started investigation. Started searching for the robbers.
Car used in robbery recovered
During this time, the police team had recovered the car used in carrying out the robbery from Nagwaha village of Rasoolabad. After which, on the basis of suspicion, the police team started searching for the robbers in the forest near Nagwaha village.
During this time, two robbers present inside the forest started firing at the police. In police retaliation, two robbers were shot in their legs. The police immediately took both of them into custody and sent them to CHC for treatment. Where the condition of both remains normal. The police team is searching for others who are absconding.
SP said that the police team has arrested two accused involved in the robbery incident during the encounter. During police interrogation, the accused have been identified as Deepak, resident of Ghatampur, Kanpur and Nafees Gajner, Kanpur Dehat. The search is on for others who are absconding.
