There was dense fog in Meerut on Wednesday morning. There was some relief due to sunshine in the afternoon, but due to the sun setting early in the evening, the feeling of cold increased. Meteorologists say that the cold will increase in the next three-four days. There will be further change in the weather due to snowfall in the mountains.
Dr. Shahi, meteorologist of Sardar Patel Agricultural University, UP, said that on Wednesday, the maximum day temperature was recorded at the weather office at 23.4 degrees and the minimum night temperature was 6.1 degrees Celsius.
