The committee hired a watchman named Wahid Ali in the temple. Gradually Wahid Ali imposed restrictions on people coming and going in the temple. Whenever someone went, he used to lock the temple. Gradually the movement of people going to the temple stopped completely. It is alleged that the temple watchman Wahid Ali also destroyed the idols of the temple. Wahid Ali says that there was never a temple here.

Hand over all the documents of the temple to the District Magistrate

Rakesh Singh, a descendant of the family that built the temple of Ganga Maharani, while showing his documents, revealed the possession of the temple. He said that now the existence of the temple has been destroyed by the people of Muslim community. Now the temple of Ganga Maharani has been captured by Wahid Ali and he lives in the temple with the entire family.

Hindus are unable to go to the temple due to increase in Muslim population

According to Rakesh Singh, the temple of Ganga Maharani is mentioned there in all the government papers. But Wahid Ali showed dominance and captured him. In this temple there was a milky Shivalinga and the entire family of Lord Bholenath. There were also silver statues. Two hundred and fifty years ago, the descendants of Rakesh Singh had settled this place. Earlier there was very little population here. In 1800, the railway line was also laid on his land. And this temple already existed before him. Gradually the Muslim population increased here and they became dominant. Now Hindus have fewer houses here and Muslims have more houses.

Demand for intervention from CM Yogi

Now the thing to be seen is that Rakesh Singh’s family is claiming it to be the temple of Maharani Ganga. The same Muslim community is rejecting his claims, despite the papers that Rakesh Singh has. It is clearly mentioned in it that the house is occupied by Wahid Ali. Actually it is the temple of ancient Ganga Maharani. Now Rakesh Singh and his family and local people associated with Sanatan have demanded intervention from Yogi Adityanath. So that once again the temple of Ganga Maharani will be freed from the clutches of Wahid Ali. Rakesh Singh and his family have appealed to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to intervene in this matter. He says that government action is necessary to save the existence of the temple and free it from occupation.

Hindu organizations will meet DM

Now Hindu organizations have also become active in support of the temple. They will meet the District Magistrate on Thursday and demand to free the temple from encroachment and resume worship.
