The central government will move a motion on Thursday to name the members of a joint parliamentary committee for ‘One Nation One Election’. A total of 21 MPs from the Lok Sabha and 10 from the Rajya Sabha will be a part of it.
Out of the 21 members, 10 are from the BJP. Congress leaders Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and Manish Tewari, Samjawadi Party’s Dharmendra Yadav, TMC’s Kalyan Banerjee, NCP(SP)’s Supriya Sule are among opposition members in the joint parliamentary committee (JPC).
