Former Chairman of Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Service Selection Board, Prof. at the felicitation ceremony organized by the Economic Growth Foundation in New Delhi on 20th December. RP Verma will be honored. He will be given the Global Iconic Achievers for Education Development Award.

He hails from Ambedkarnagar but did his graduation from IVV and post-graduation from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, MPhil (Hindi), Lucknow.
He was appointed as a member of Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Service Selection Board Prayagraj in 2009 and as Chairman of Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Service Selection Board Prayagraj in 2011. Through this, for the post of TGT and PGT and Principals of High School and Intermediate Colleges.
In the year 2010-2011, many important works were done like getting coding and decoding done, providing carbon copy of OMR of TGT and PGT candidates.
