Ridhi Dogra, an actress known for her stellar performances in television, OTT and Bollywood, recently shared some candid insights into her personal and professional life. In a conversation with Pinkvilla, Ridhi revealed who her go-to people are when she’s feeling low and opened up about why she keeps her problems to herself.
While discussing her closest confidants, Ridhi named her brother, Akshay Dogra, as her ultimate support system. “He’s always been my go-to person,” Ridhi said, humorously adding that he’s the one person who can handle all her stress. Along with her brother, Ridhi highlighted that she has many sweet, kind friends who are always there for her.
Interestingly, she also named her ex-husband, actor Raqesh Bapat, as one of her closest friends. “He is my ex but one of my closest friends,” Ridhi shared. Their friendship continues to thrive even after their separation.
Ridhi also mentioned television mogul Ektaa Kapoor as another important person in her life. When feeling anxious or needing a broader perspective, Ridhi turns to Ektaa for guidance. Ridhi even included her school friends in her circle of trust, emphasizing how these relationships have stood the test of time.
Speaking about her childhood, Ridhi explained why she doesn’t typically share her problems with close friends. “I’ve never felt the need to share. I believe that with time, things just get solved. If you share, it’s hard to forget,” she explained, showing a deep sense of introspection.
Ridhi’s career, which began with the show Maryada: Lekin Kab Tak, has been a remarkable one. She went on to showcase her versatility in shows like Nach Baliye 6, Khatron Ke Khiladi 6, and the popular web series Asur: Welcome to Your Dark Side. Recently, she made a powerful impact in Jawan, starring alongside Shah Rukh Khan, further cementing her place as a talented actress.
