Lucknow High Court on Wednesday rejected a bail plea. It was filed on behalf of alleged Al Qaeda terrorist Mushiruddin alias Musheer alias Raju, who had planned to carry out a cooker bomb blast on Independence Day in 2021.

Material for making ID bomb was found

Order: A division bench of Justice Sangeeta Chandra and Justice Prakash Singh observed that the NIA had recovered material used in making ID bombs from Mushiruddin’s house, which he had purchased from the market along with co-accused Minhaj Ahmed.

The appellant had challenged in the court through an appeal the order dated May 29, 2023 of the Special NIA Court of Lucknow, in which his bail application was rejected.

The accused denied the allegations

Advocate Ajmal Khan, appearing on behalf of the appellant, told the court that the appellant is a poor man who drives an e-rickshaw. The police have wrongly implicated him. The court was also told that messages from co-accused Minhaj Ahmed used to come on Mushiruddin’s mobile phone, but the appellant had not sent those messages to anyone else.

NIA has complete evidence

Opposing the appeal, NIA’s special advocate Shikha Sinha told the court that the charge sheet filed by the NIA. There is complete evidence against the appellant.

Transactions were done with Minhaj

After looking at all the evidence presented before the Court, the Court found that the details of the bank pass book of the Appellant Mushiruddin showed that there were transactions between him and co-accused Minhaj, the video and audio clippings recovered from the Appellant. Is. From them the appellant is found to be involved in terrorist activities.
