How the health system of Azamgarh district has gone off track. This can be gauged from the fact that a female sterilization program was organized on Thursday at the Primary Health Center in Martinganj block of Azamgarh district.
,
In such a situation, women started reaching the primary health center of Martinganj since morning. These women were brought by Asha Bahu. These women were to undergo operation from noon onwards after which they were to be sent home. But Dr. Ram Ashish Yadav, who operated on women, reached the health center at his scheduled time of 2 pm and 7 pm. In such a situation, the program of sterilization of these women continued till 9 pm in this cold night. Due to which the women who came for sterilization had to face a lot of problems.
There was a crowd of women at Martinganj Health Center in Azamgarh till late night.
Now a big question arises that while on one hand the government is talking about women’s safety and medical treatment, on the other hand these women who came from their homes for treatment kept wandering in the health center till late night. From this it can be understood how serious this doctor, who performs sterilization of women, is regarding the health and safety of women.
This is not the first case of Dr. Ram Ashish Yadav arriving late at the health center in Martinganj. Earlier, two Ramashish Yadavs had reached the health centers late several times.
Despite this, top officials of the health department are sitting blindfolded. Even though State Deputy CM Brijesh Pathak continuously claims to improve the health system of the state, Deputy CM Brijesh Pathak is not visible anywhere in Azamgarh district.
