In Mirzapur district, the district administration has become strict on schools violating the timetable set by the Ministry of Basic Education. The District Magistrate has given a clear warning that all schools up to class 8 will operate from 9 am to 3 pm only.

Timetable applicable from October 1
The District Magistrate said that from October 1 to March 31, school timings have been fixed from 9 am to 3 pm. This instruction was issued to all the schools on August 14 itself. Despite this, some basic board, CBSE board recognized and aided schools are not following it.
Order implemented in view of cold wave
In view of the cold wave in the district, all council, non-government aided and recognized schools from nursery to class 8, run by Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Council, CBSE Board, will operate from 9 am to 3 pm. The order should be strictly followed. Strict action will be taken against schools found running contrary to government orders.
