The OT of Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical College (Medical College) in Balrampur district will be developed on the lines of Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGI) in Lucknow. This OT is now completely ready. This will provide better medical care to the people of the district.

All the departments in this medical college will be equipped with hi-tech facilities. But special attention is being given to OT. High-tech equipment will be used in this. Post-operative care and palliative department will also be created.
The purpose of palliative care is to provide relief from pain and improve the quality of life of patients suffering from serious illnesses and their families. Nodal Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar Chaturvedi said that hi-tech OT and other facilities will be started soon in Balrampur Medical College. Due to which people will get benefit.
