The student did not return from coaching
The student living in Krishnanagar police station area used to go to study in a coaching center located in the police station area itself. Like every day, on Wednesday the student had gone from home to study coaching. When the student did not return home after studying coaching, her family started searching. Even after searching for a long time, when the student could not be found, the student’s family informed the Krishnanagar police station about the student’s return home from coaching.
Seen going with the young man in CCTV footage
The police registered a case and started searching for the student. After the police scanned several CCTV footages, the student was seen leaving with a young man. The police traced the girl student and handed her over to her family.
Hinduist organization members demonstrated
When Hindu organizations came to know that the student had been abducted by a youth of another religion, they all became angry. Demanding the arrest of the youth, they gathered on VIP Road near Pakdi bridge in Krishnanagar police station area and blocked the road while raising slogans.
Krishna Nagar Inspector PK Singh said that the matter had come to light and the young man was immediately traced on the basis of CCTV and the girl has been recovered today. Further necessary legal action is underway.
