Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh has taken a big initiative to solve the problems of the people. Under this, the government will now go to your doorstep, you will not have to make rounds of the government i.e. government departments. All schemes related to the government will be implemented by setting up stalls of all the departments at Gram Panchayat level.

Good Governance Week ‘Administration Towards Village’ campaign
Chief Development Officer Jag Pravesh, under the “Good Governance Week Administration Towards Villages” campaign, on Thursday, Good Governance Week-2024 “Administration Towards Villages Campaign” was inaugurated from Vikas Bhawan Auditorium.
Good Governance Week will be celebrated from 19 to 24 December
On this occasion, it was informed that in order to promote good governance with the active participation and support of the Central and State Government departments, the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances, Government of India, is organizing “Good Governance Week Administration Village” during the period from 19 to 24 December, 2024. Week long programs will be organized under the ‘And’ campaign.
The initial phase ran from 11 to 18 December.
In the initial phase in Bareilly, between 11th to 18th December 2024, mapping of all the districts, identification of targets for good governance practices, redressal of public grievances and improvement in public service delivery have been done on the campaign portal.
Organization of special camps at Tehsil and Gram Panchayat level
Under the implementation phase, special camps are being organized at the tehsil and gram panchayat level from 19 to 24 December 2024. In these camps, departments related to public distribution system, health department, social sector like pension schemes etc. set up stalls to receive the complaints and applications of the beneficiaries. “On the spot” Solution will be made.
Dissemination workshop organized at district level
A dissemination workshop will be organized at the district level on 23 December 2024, in which the inaugural address will be given by a retired IAS officer, who has served as the District Magistrate in the district, as the chief guest. Thereafter there will be presentation of initiatives by various departments.

Everyone was instructed by the Chief Development Officer to join this campaign and work. On this occasion, the entire staff of Vikas Bhawan along with district level officers like District Development Officer, Deputy Commissioner Labor Employment, Project Director DRDA, District Panchayat Raj Officer, District Social Welfare Officer etc. participated.
