The family members of Rajesh, who runs a chaat stall, had written a report at Thakurganj police station.

ADCP West Vishwajeet Srivastava said that Rajesh Gautam (55), who was selling chaat at 9.30 pm on Friday night, was shot dead by Kalia. He told during interrogation that there was a dispute regarding the place of parking the cart. It was because of this that he carried out the incident.

Police said that Kalia used to sell kebab paratha near Rajesh’s stall. Kalia had been pressurizing Rajesh to remove his cart for a long time. Due to which the dispute took place. After which he shot Rajesh and ran away.
