Assurance of getting possession of land
Girja Bai, resident of village Rangaon under Madavara police station, reached the Collectorate premises on Friday with inflammable substance in her hand. Where he told that he has land in the village. His land was encroached upon by a resident BJP leader and former District Panchayat member of the same village. About which he had complained to the authorities. So much so that he had to go on a fast. At that time the officials had given assurance of getting possession of the land.
But no action has been taken till now. He said that the BJP leader is not giving up his possession of his land. She has been wandering for justice for almost 22 months. But he is not getting justice. She said that if she did not get justice she would commit suicide. The officials have assured him of getting justice.
