Madih Talal scored one goal and an assist during ISL 2024-25 season in 10 appearances before injury cut short his stint.
East Bengal FC midfielder Madih Talal has been ruled out from the remainder of the ongoing Indian Super League Season, the club said in a statement on Thursday. Talal sustained a knee injury during East Bengal’s ISL match against Odisha FC earlier this month.
“Emami East Bengal FC midfielder Madih Talal unfortunately suffered a knee injury in the recent home match against Odisha FC,” read the statement.
“After evaluating his medical reports, the club can confirm that he will be ruled out for the remainder of the 2024-25 ISL season. We wish Madih a speedy recovery and will share updates on future developments,” it added.
The 27-year-old Talal has a two-year contract with East Bengal keeping him at the club till 2026.
