After Sridevi’s passing, Arjun Kapoor and his sister Anshula became closer to their half-sisters Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor.

After Sridevi’s passing, Arjun Kapoor and his sister Anshula became closer to their half-sisters Janhvi and Khushi. Arjun shared that the difficult circumstances they all faced brought them together. He mentioned that, at such a vulnerable time, they connected deeply, with shared grief forming a strong bond between them.

During a chat with Raj Shamani on his podcast, Arjun said, “I think I am the most vulnerable with my sisters, which is a good thing. Because when I got connected with Janhvi and Khushi, the circumstances that were there, there was nothing left. We were at the lowest in terms of… Me and Anshula had experienced something, then Janhvi and Khushi were going through something that we wouldn’t wish for our worst enemies and it happened in our house. So we started with being vulnerable.”

Arjun and Anshula Kapoor, the children of Boney and Mona Kapoor, grew close to their half-sisters Janhvi and Khushi after their mothers’ deaths. Despite a strained relationship with their father, they supported him and their half-siblings following Sridevi’s passing in 2018. “Now when I talk to Janhvi, Khushi and Anshula, I feel the most myself with them, it’s a strange thing. I have spoken about such things with Janhvi that I never even confessed to my own self. And she is wise also, so she understands. I share everything with Anshula. When I don’t say something, she comes and sits with me and I just naturally start speaking. I am very blessed that my sisters have allowed me to be open.”

Boney Kapoor’s first wife, Mona Kapoor, passed away in 2012 after a battle with cancer. Boney later married actress Sridevi, with whom he had two daughters, Janhvi and Khushi. Following Sridevi’s tragic death in 2018, Boney’s children from both marriages, Arjun and Anshula, supported him and their half-sisters during this difficult time, despite having been estranged from him for much of their lives.
