60 stray cattle rescued in Baghpat Rescue of 60 stray cows in Baghpat: CDO launched a campaign on the complaint of farmers, caught them from the forest and sent them to the cowshed – Baghpat News


The district administration rescued 60 helpless cows that were damaging the crops of farmers in the forests of Santoshpur village of Baghpat and sent them to cow shelters. This action was taken on the instructions of District Development Officer (CDO) Akhilesh Kumar Choubey. villagers and farmers

Farmers had been demanding for a long time that the stray cattle should be removed from the forest as they were continuously destroying the crops. Taking this problem seriously, the District Development Officer formed a rescue team.

Rescue operation continued from morning till late evening The team started the operation in Santoshpur forest from morning itself and caught 60 cows from different places. These cows were sent to the cow sheds of Sarurpur Kala, Mitli and Sisana villages. During this period the villagers fully cooperated with the rescue team.

Farmers expressed gratitude Villagers and farmers said that this initiative has solved their major problem. Farmer Ramlal said, “Our crops were getting ruined because of the cows. The district administration understood our problem and took immediate action. We are grateful for this.”

District Development Officer Akhilesh Kumar Choubey said, “60 destitute cows from Santoshpur village have been rescued and shifted to cow shelters. If such complaints are received in future, immediate action will be taken.”
