DIG Vaibhav Krishna and Commissioner Manish Chauhan set out to check the integrity of the PCS exam in Azamgarh.

PCS pre-examination was conducted amid heavy security in Azamgarh district on Sunday. Arrangements were made for 10031 candidates at 23 examination centers set up in the district. About 55 percent of the candidates left the exam. 4396 students present in first shift

For security reasons, two female and two male constables along with one SI were deployed at each center and teams of police and officers were visiting the examination centers and keeping an eye. PCS Pre Exam was conducted in two shifts on Sunday, the first shift exam was conducted from 9:30 am to 11:30 am and the second shift exam was conducted from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm.

DIG of Azamgarh division Vaibhav Krishna kept taking stock of the examinations being conducted in Azamgarh district along with the officials. Along with this, he also visited many examination centers.

During this time, in case of any problem, a control room was arranged on which the candidates could call. Elaborate arrangements were made to prevent cheating in the examination. Candidates were being given admission only after presenting the identity card issued by the government like Aadhar Card, Voter ID, PAN Card, Passport, DM, Identity Card issued by the Central or State Government etc. along with the e-admit card of the candidates.

For biometric attendance of candidates, one person was deployed for every 65 children. Along with this, on behalf of CMO, along with the medical team, PRV was also deployed at the centers along with the police.
