Amid Pushpa 2 stampede controversy, a group of people claiming to be students of Osmania University pelted stones at Allu Arjun’s residence. Visuals from outside Allu Arjun’s house have surfaced on social media.

Allu Arjun has been mired in controversy over the death of a woman during a stampede at the screening of Pushpa 2: The Rule at the Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad. Amid the controversy, Allu Arjun’s house was attacked by a group of people claiming to be students of Osmania University, and they were seen pelting stones at  his residence. Visuals from outside the Pushpa 2 star’s house have surfaced on social media.

Videos that have surfaced on the Internet show a group of people attacking Arjun’s Jubilee Hills residence in Hyderabad. The crowd was seen chanting slogans, while pelting stones at Allu Arjun’s residence. The protestors damaged the property, and demanded Rs 1 crore as compensation for Pushpa 2 stampede victim’s family.

Allu Arjun was not present at his residence when the incident occurred. The eight protesters, reported to be the members of the Osmania University’s Joint Action Committee (JAC), were arrested and were taken to the Jubilee Hills Police Station.

A few hours ago, Allu Arjun issued a statement on social media, urging fans to act responsibly. The statement read, “I appeal to all my fans to express their feelings responsibly, as always and not resort to any kind of abusive language or behavior both online and offline. Misrepresentating as my fans with fake IDs and fake profiles, if someone indulges in abusive posts, strong action will be taken against them. I request the fans to not engage with such posts. Allu Arjun.”
