22 centers were created in Mathura for PCS Pre examination. There was a 3 layer security system at the examination centres. Uttar Pradesh Police personnel were deployed here in the first layer. After this, security personnel of private security agency were checking with metal detector. In the third layer, bio-metric checking of the candidates was being done.

No one was allowed to carry anything except pen and admit card to the examination centres. The candidates were being given admission only after strict checking. Even the Kalava tied on his hand, the thread worn around his neck and the belt were also removed. The security personnel were carrying blades to cut the kalava and thread.

In the PCS Pre examination, 9006 candidates had to appear for the examination at 22 centers in Mathura. But here more than half of the candidates remained missing. Here in the first shift, 4051 candidates appeared for the exam while 4955 remained absent. That means only 44.98 percent took the exam. Similarly, in the second shift, 4001 appeared for the exam while 5005 remained absent. That means 44.43 percent candidates came to take the exam.

The examination centers created in Mathura for the PCS Pre examination conducted by Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission were divided into 22 sectors. For which the duty of 22 Sector Magistrates and 22 Static Magistrates was imposed. Apart from this, police officers kept visiting the examination centers continuously.

To ensure that the PCS Pre examination in Mathura is conducted peacefully and safely, DM Shailendra Kumar Singh and SSP Shailesh Pandey kept inspecting the examination centers of both the shifts. DM and SSP inspected Prem Devi Aggarwal Girls Inter College, PMV Polytechnic and other centres. DM Shailendra Kumar Singh said that the examination was conducted peacefully in Mathura.

There was disappointment on the faces of the candidates who came to appear for the PCS Pre exam while coming out after giving the paper. Candidates told that the question paper that came in the first shift was very tough. But in the second shift the question paper was easy. The candidate from Aligarh told that he studied for 18 to 20 hours but despite that the paper was tough compared to the analysis.
