The body of an IOC tanker exploded while welding it at Aliganj base in Amla, Bareilly. The driver operator and the injured welder fled from the spot.

The IOC tanker was returning after unloading petrol from Bareilly at Aliganj base in Amla. Then on Monday at 9:00 am, he stopped at Aliganj base for welding and was doing welding.
Then suddenly the tanker’s body exploded. The sound was so loud that people nearby could not understand and there was panic in the area. Immediately informed the police. On information, Inspector Amla Kunwar Bahadur Singh arrived with the police force.
SDM Amla N Ram reached the spot and took both Ganesh resident of Saripur and the driver operator of Ompal resident of Saidpur police station Vithri Chainpur to Community Health Center Amla in injured condition. Where the doctor referred both of them to the district hospital after first aid.
The fire brigade vehicle reached the spot and controlled the tanker. People told that the tanker driver had stopped for welding. Whereas tankers are not allowed to stop in crowded areas. Gas formed in it and the body burst. The sound was so loud that it took time for the people around to understand. After the tanker exploded, the welder fled from the spot.
SDM N Ram has immediately directed the Inspector not to allow tankers to be parked in crowded areas in the entire city. Told that notices will be issued to all the welders. IOC’s second manager Vipin, who reached the spot of the incident, said that the tanker driver had not taken any approval from the depot.
Depot’s safety officers Rahul Singh and Bunty Chauhan also arrived with him and immediately the tanker was taken from Hydra. Fortunately, there was no major accident in the area and the tanker was empty.
