Bharatiya Kisan Union leader Neeti Balyan reached the SSP office along with hundreds of farmers on Monday. The farmers demonstrated strongly by gheraoing the SSP office. Farmer leader Nitin Balyan alleged that some time ago, a family in Hastinapur was attacked by bullies. Half a dozen people of the family were seriously injured in the attack. Hastinapur police took action against the bullies under minor sections and got rid of the case. Have shrugged it off.

The police are misleading the family members and are not arresting the accused while the accused are continuously pressurizing them for a compromise and threatening to kill them if they do not compromise. The same farmer leader told that 8 days ago the miscreants had opened fire on poor Virat, a resident of Daurala. A complaint was made to the police station about the matter, but the Daurala police station has not yet arrested the miscreants while the miscreants are roaming freely. And are threatening to kill. The farmer leader said that if the police does not take strict action against the accused in both the cases, then he will stage an indefinite dharna at the Commissionerate, whereas if the matter comes to his notice, the SSP has assured action after investigation in both the cases.
