The victim says that when the police asked her about the incident, she told her whatever she had experienced. This was my statement. SHO Civil Lines Manoj Kumar said that the statement could not be made today. Because the victim had come to the police station but returned saying that she would go to her lawyer.

A woman living in the Civil Lines police station area filed an application in the court accusing Bilsi BJP MLA Harish Shakya of gang rape and conspiracy to grab property and implicate her husband in a false case. On the orders of the court, this case has been registered in Civil Lines police station on 21st December. 16 people including the MLA and his brother are named in the case.
