Actually, after the case was filed on Saturday, the statement of the victim was to be taken but the preliminary examination for PCS recruitment was on Sunday. In such a situation, the entire system was busy in this. As a result, on Monday the victim and her husband reached Civil Lines police station to record their statement.

A woman living in the Civil Lines police station area filed an application in the court accusing Bilsi BJP MLA Harish Shakya of gang rape and conspiracy to grab property and implicate her husband in a false case. On the orders of the court, this case has been registered in Civil Lines police station on 21st December. 16 people including the MLA and his brother are named in the case.
