According to the police, all the arrested accused are originally residents of Bihar. Apart from the main accused, Bhabhua Bihar resident Kallu son of Munn Bind, Ashok Ram son of Sudan Ram and Rohtas resident Indal Kumar son of Vilas Rai, Pappu Kumar son of Sheshnath.

During interrogation, the main accused confessed to the rape and narrated the entire incident. The police also inspected the incident site and took information after the incident and filed challan against the accused in the case, who will be presented in the court today.

A 23-year-old girl, resident of Shivpur area, went out of the house on Monday night (23 December) after a fight with her family members. Sitting in the auto at the district headquarters, she came towards Kabir Chaura. When she got down near the intersection, Kallu, a resident of Bihar, saw the girl and went to her.

Expressing her displeasure with her family, the victim said that she would not go home tonight. Kallu made an excuse of helping and asked to stay in his room overnight. He lied that there were women in his house too, whereas when the girl reached home, the room was empty.

As soon as he got the chance, he caught her, threatened her and raped her. After this, he called his friends and invited them to the room and presented the girl to them. When two young men started molesting the frightened girl, she screamed.

It is alleged that both those friends also tried to rape the girl. Getting the opportunity, the girl started screaming, the people in the neighborhood informed the police as soon as they heard the sound. When Chetganj police reached, the accused fled.

The victim told that the youths cut her at many places on her body and also beat her. The girl told that there were three more companions with Kallu. In this, a middle-aged man did not commit any excess. But, kept watching everything silently. When the girl protested, he threatened her and tied her hands and raped her.
