Bhadohi District Excise Officer Arun Kumar Shukla and Municipal Council Bhadohi Executive Officer Dharamraj Singh inspected the temporary cow shed Ramalpur this morning in view of the cold. During the inspection, all the safety and facilities of the cows in the cow shed were checked.

During the inspection by the officials, it was found that plastic curtains were installed in the cow shed to protect the cows from cold, due to which all the cows were found completely safe. Apart from this, arrangements were also made to burn bonfires to provide relief from the cold to the cattle, where the bonfire was found burning in the morning.

The officials inquired about the availability of green fodder and straw to provide proper diet to the cattle, and found that green fodder and straw were available in sufficient quantity in the cow shed. Also, all the cattle were found healthy and no problem was found in any of the cattle.

District Excise Officer Arun Kumar Shukla and Municipal Council Executive Officer Dharamraj Singh directed the concerned personnel to ensure that the cattle should be properly taken care of. They should be given fodder and water from time to time, and no carelessness should be taken in this.
Officials said that the severity of cold is increasing day by day, hence every possible effort should be made to protect the cattle from cold. If any cow complains of feeling cold, then a veterinarian should be immediately called and treated.
