Municipal Corporation’s bulldozer operated in Kalyanpur area of Kanpur on Friday. During this period, heavy police force and enforcement teams have been deployed due to fear of chaos. The bulldozer has vacated the entire footpath in about 500 metres.

Shopkeepers protested
Due to the shop being situated on the footpath, there used to be severe traffic jam every day. Complaints have been made to the Municipal Corporation several times, but no one took any action. This time the Municipal Corporation squad reached the spot with a bulldozer and vacated the possession of all the illegal occupants.
All possessions were demolished by bulldozers.
Shopkeepers protested
At first all the shopkeepers protested after seeing the bulldozer. The city officials tried to convince everyone, but no one was ready to agree. After this, as soon as the bulldozer started its action, everyone was seen running here and there with their belongings.
During this period, the Municipal Corporation has vacated more than 50 properties. After this, everyone was warned by the Municipal Corporation officials that no one should occupy this place again.
