Two similar plants will be set up in Noida.
Two processing plants will be set up by Noida Authority for processing municipal solid waste. Each has a capacity of 40 tonnes per day. Authority CEO Lokesh M approved both these plants. The processing plant produces 25 tonnes of wet waste per day.

80 tons of garbage will be recycled
With this, 80 tonnes of municipal solid waste of Noida area will be disposed of daily using scientific method. This waste will be recycled and made useful again. This plant will be set up by the selected agency at its own expense. The company will collect municipal solid waste and process it in the plant at its own expense. User charges will be taken by the selected agency for collecting garbage from various buildings and places and revenue will be earned by selling the product obtained from processing.
Noida Authority will not spend
Part of this revenue will be given to Noida Authority. No expenditure will be incurred by Noida Authority for the plant. The plant will be set up for 15 years. If the work is found satisfactory, it will be extended for 03 years. Period of Agreement: Land will be provided free of cost by Noida Authority. After termination of the agreement, the land will be returned by the agency to Noida Authority.
