A woman employee, who was checking overloaded trucks with the staff of Meerut, was attacked by a truck driver along with about two dozen people in Khardauni village. The accused had also tried to drag the female PTO from her car. And his driver’s mobile was also snatched. The incident took place on Daurala Mussoorie road in Incholi police station area. The female PTO saved her life by giving information on dial 112 and filed a case against 22 people. Police have already arrested the first two accused Sahil and Imran in this case. On Saturday, two other accused Javed and Sakir were arrested.

Giving information about the entire matter, ARTO Rajesh Kardam had said that Preeti Pandey, posted as PTO in the RTO department, was checking overloaded tracks on Daurala Mussoorie road late on Friday evening. Then he saw an overloaded truck coming from Meerut. When he tried to stop the truck, the truck driver tried to run the truck over the lady officer and her staff. After which the accused truck driver ran him over.
PTO’s mobile snatched, somehow she ran away The woman officer chased the truck and reached village Khardauni. Where his staff started making video of the truck. Then the truck driver along with about two dozen villagers attacked the woman officer. While trying to pull him from the car, his driver’s mobile phone was snatched. Female officer Preeti Pandey somehow saved her life by informing the police. After this, a case was registered against 22 people after reaching the police station. ARTO said- the vehicle was challaned and seized In the whole matter, ARTO Rajesh Kardam says that after seizing the overloaded vehicle, a challan of Rs 1 lakh 88 thousand 500 has been issued and a fine has also been imposed.
