During this, the ADO Panchayat spoke to the BDO in abusive language while under the influence of alcohol and when the BDO tried to explain, Mahendra started abusing. After this incident, BDO lodged a report on which CDO Ankita Jain took immediate action and suspended Mahendra Pratap Singh.
Along with this, he has handed over the investigation of the case to the District Program Officer. The BDO alleged that Mahendra Pratap Singh did not take interest in government work and often behaved rudely even with the secretaries. Apart from this, he had also demanded money in the village fund and had adopted a negative attitude towards development works.
Officials said that there are serious allegations against the ADO Panchayat of obstructing government work and not responding to the show cause notice issued from the block office. The District Program Officer will investigate this entire matter, so that appropriate action can be taken.
