According to Seva Ram, his great grandfather Bhimsen used to take care of the temple and also perform puja. But in the riots of 1980, Bhimsen was killed by a mob of people from another community. Even his dead body was not found. It is said that after killing the priest Bhimsen, the frenzied mob threw his body in the fire.

After this incident, the remaining family of Bhimsen came and settled in Linepar area. After this the temple also remained closed. Gradually the idols of the temple also disappeared. Now there is only a ruined temple and a Shivalaya in it. Sevaram has complained to the DM that whenever he goes to open this temple, people from other communities do not allow him to open the doors of the temple. They are threatened with dire consequences if they open the door. Sevaram has demanded from the DM that the doors of the temple should be opened under police protection.

After this complaint of Sevaram, the team led by SDM Sadar and CO Kotwali reached the temple. When I went there, I found that the care of the temple was in the hands of a eunuch Mohini. The temple was found very clean and neat. But there were no statues in it. Kinnar Mohini told that she has been taking care of this temple for 3 years. But there are no idols in the temple. That’s why there is no worship here. Both the paths to the sanctum sanctorum of the temple have been closed with bricks.

Mohini also told the police that in the last three years, Sevaram or any other person had never tried to open the sanctum sanctorum of the temple. No one has even come to the temple. However, the administration has completed preparations for opening the sanctum sanctorum of the temple. Sevaram was also called during the inspection, but he did not reach the spot.
