Sambhal police on Saturday arrested Ajay Sharma, a resident of Mohalla Kot East, a youth from another community who had entered the house of MP Burke and threatened to kill him. However, the young man has denied the allegation of threat.

After registering the report on the basis of the complaint of the caretaker of the Parliament House, the police took action under section 170 of breach of peace and challaned the arrested accused to the Upazila Magistrate Court. Nakhasa Inspector Gajendra Singh said that a report has been registered under section 333, 352, 351(2).
Let us tell you that Kamil, the caretaker of Sambhal’s SP MP Ziaur Rahman Burke, resident of Lodhi Sarai locality, told the police that the young man entered the house and started asking about the MP and his father, when they denied that he was not there. The young man started threatening to kill him and ran away abusing him.

Accused Ajay Sharma told that I did not give any threat, who says that I have given threat. We are related, we have Dadalahi (ancestral) relations. Whenever we go, we go alone. Mamluk uncle and his sons were not at home. The boy I met there said, Pandit ji, I cannot make you sit. I don’t know who complained, there was no discussion between us. I talked to him there for an hour. They have made me sit there, why should we threaten?
