CDO Prem Prakash Meena conducted on-site inspection of the 50 bedded AYUSH hospital built in Gram Panchayat Taura of development block Bichhiya. During the inspection, he expressed his displeasure over the poor quality of the ongoing construction work and gave instructions to make improvements.

The 50-bed AYUSH hospital has been constructed at a cost of approximately Rs 8.16 crore. During the inspection, Prem Prakash Meena made a thorough observation of various parts of the hospital. He took stock of the flooring, plaster, quality of windows inside the rooms and verandahs and the interlocking work done outside. In this inspection, the quality of some construction works was found not to be satisfactory. He directed the officials of the executing agency to correct these construction works within 15 days and inform them about the improvements.
Hospital facilities and objectives The construction of this AYUSH hospital will facilitate the people of Unnao district and surrounding rural areas to get treatment through AYUSH methods. In this hospital, patients will be treated under all major AYUSH modalities including Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani and Homeopathy. With this, local people will not need to go to other districts for treatment.

State-of-the-art treatment will be available in the hospital The hospital will have state-of-the-art medical facilities, which include a variety of tests including ultrasound, blood tests. Apart from this, treatments like Naturopathy, Homeopathy, AYUSH, Panchakarma will also be available here. Especially diseases like hemorrhoids and fistulas will be treated with Kshar Sutra method, which is an important part of AYUSH medical systems.
