State General Secretary of Congress and member of Mahakumbh Steering Committee, Jai Karan Verma said that there are more than 2.5 lakh Kurmi community voters in the district, but this community has not had any representation in the politics of the district for a long time. Different parties take votes of Kurmi community, but no one gives public representative. Gave the message of unity of Kurmi community through Kurmi Mahakumbh. Along with this, it was resolved to vote for the party working for the Kurmi community in the upcoming elections.

Social organizations, intellectuals and others were also honored in the Kurmi Mahakumbh. A large number of people participated from Rudauli, Ayodhya, Gosaiganj and Milkipur Devgaon, Haringtonganj Bikapur Tarun. Social Mahakumbh was organized in the General Assembly to make the society aware and decide participation.

Former Legislative Council candidate Vikas Patel said that our society was given step-motherly treatment in the governments from independence till today. The more one’s participation in politics, the more one’s responsibility is claimed remained a mere paper slogan for us. In reality everyone has cheated us. If we people of Kurmi community stay together then we can make every path easier. On this occasion, Shiv Prasad, Ram Tirath Verma, Bhagwati Prasad Verma, Anup Verma, Swaminath Verma, Digvijay, Vijay Bahadur Verma, Satrohan Verma, Umesh Verma, Abhay Patel, Abhishek Verma, Ajay Verma, Ram Narayan Verma, Suryabhan Verma and Virendra Verma were present. A large number of people including the program coordinator were present.
