The Commissioner gave clear instructions that the targets of these schemes should be accomplished in a time bound manner. He directed to lay emphasis on toilet construction, waste management and cleanliness awareness campaigns in urban and rural areas under the Swachh Bharat Mission.
Instructions to improve health services
Information about medical facilities and availability of medicines in hospitals was taken from health department officials. Instructions were given to ensure timely presence of doctors at primary health centers and 100% distribution of health insurance cards under Ayushman Bharat Scheme.

In the review of the Education Department, the Divisional Commissioner asked for improving the infrastructure of schools, presence of teachers and ensuring quality education for students. If progress was found to be poor in Nipun Vidyalaya, instructions were given to take strict action against the concerned headmaster.
agriculture sector review
In case of lack of progress in the schemes of Agriculture Department, instructions were given to bring improvements. Under the Crop Insurance Scheme, farmers were asked to submit the report of loan distribution within 10 days. Emphasis was laid on providing timely seeds, fertilizers and irrigation facilities to the farmers and adopting new technologies.
Emphasis on women empowerment and coordination
During the review of women empowerment schemes, instructions were given to motivate women for self-employment and strengthen self-help groups. All departments were instructed to work with mutual coordination, so that the benefits of the schemes reach the last person.
Transparency and accountability essential
The Commissioner directed the officials to ensure regular review of the progress of the schemes and inspection at the ground level. He said that any kind of negligence in development works will not be tolerated. On this occasion, Joint Development Commissioner Rishi Muni Upadhyay, Chief Development Officer Rajendra Kumar Srivas, and other concerned officers were present.
