District Magistrate Priyanka Niranjan inspected the arrangements being made for the devotees going from the district to Prayagraj during the Kumbh Mela-2025 in Mirzapur. He informed about the routes of travelers going to and coming to Prayagraj via Vindhyachal, Lalganj and Vijaypur.

Inspected Vindhyachal temple and major sites
District Magistrate Priyanka Niranjan along with Additional District Magistrate Finance and Revenue Shiv Pratap Shukla, Additional Superintendent of Police Naxal Om Prakash Singh, City Magistrate Lal Bahadur Singh, Deputy District Magistrate Sadar Gulab Chandra, and other officials visited Vindhyachal Temple Complex, Parking Area, Ganga Ghat, Railway Station. , Took stock of the arrangements in the roadways complex. He said that cleaning, repair work, barricading and proper arrangements should be done at all places so that the devotees do not face any kind of inconvenience.
Instructions for construction of night shelter and toilet
The District Magistrate inspected the arrangements for night shelters, toilets, changing rooms and parking on major routes and places of Vindhyachal and Lalganj. He said that a night shelter should be built in the garden of Akodhi village near the Ashtabhuja temple, and arrangements for toilets and parking should also be made at that place. Apart from this, instructions were given to ensure parking and lodging arrangements in Mahesh Bhattacharya Inter College.
Safety instructions for tourists and devotees
The District Magistrate gave instructions to ensure night shelters, toilets, parking and security arrangements at major tourist places like Kushiyara Falls. He said that adequate lighting, drinking water, temporary food shops and bonfires should be arranged on the yatra routes so that the devotees do not have to face any kind of problem.
Appeal to take care of essential facilities in night shelter
Priyanka Niranjan also said that necessary facilities like mattresses, quilts, blankets should be provided in night shelters so that the devotees have a comfortable experience. He also directed that passengers should not face any kind of trouble.
Inspection taken with team of officers
During this inspection, all the concerned officers including Additional Chief Officer District Panchayat, Joint Director Industries Virendra Kumar, District Panchayat Raj Officer Santosh Kumar Srivastava, and Executive Officer Municipality Mirzapur Goa Lal were present along with the District Magistrate.
