Changes in PG course fees will also be allowed. On the other hand, Vice Chancellor Prof. This will be the last Academic Council of Sudhir Kumar Jain’s tenure. His tenure is ending on January 6.

Exam duration will be less

According to the information received from the Office of the Controller of Examinations of BHU, the duration of BHU examinations will be changed as per the new education policy. The examinations will be completed in minimum days. Till now the entire month is spent in exams. Due to this, students lose a lot of time. Due to long duration examinations, students suffer from mental pressure for a long time. In the new changes, only 10 to 15 days will be left for the examination. Apart from this, the rules of pass and fail will also be changed in the examination reform. Rest of the arrangements will continue as before.

It is being considered as the last academic meeting of VC in BHU.

The agenda for November-December was approved in the last council.

The Academic Council meeting held on December 26 had 12 agendas of 266 pages. In this, the proposals included in the Academic Council meeting held on 5 November and 7 December were given final approval. Now the further proposals of the Academic Council will be approved. In the last meeting, PhD course work in Hindu Studies was introduced after reforms. But this time permission will be given in the meeting.

Proposal to start PhD in more than 20 centers

Apart from this, a proposal was made to start PhD in more than 20 closed centres. This will also be discussed and consent will be given. Final approval will also be given on the launch of M.V.Sc course in Veterinary and Animal Science of BHU. Apart from this, the amendments made in the new intellectual property policy and technology transfer process in BHU will be approved.
