A mason died when an unknown vehicle collided with his bike near Khokhapur village of Safipur Kotwali area on Thursday night. The accident happened when the mason was going to his home. Police reached the information and after investigation took the body into their custody for post-mortem.

The 36-year-old son of Bhikha, resident of Mubarakpur village of Safipur Kotwali area, worked as a mason. He was coming home by bike after completing his work. Meanwhile, an unknown vehicle hit the bike near Khokhapur village. After the accident, he fell into the mud along with the bike.

Police started investigation People nearby informed the family and police about the incident. On getting information about the incident, nephew Savinay’s son Shiv Kumar reached the spot and admitted him in an injured condition to a private hospital in Pava. After first aid, the doctor saw his condition critical and referred him to the district hospital. Late at night the family took him to the emergency room. Here the doctor declared him dead. As soon as they got the news of the death, the family members started crying inconsolable. The young man used to support his family by farming. He has a son and a daughter. On receiving the information, Head Constable Rajeev Kumar reached the spot and took necessary action after investigation.
