The villagers made a video of Nilgai’s dead body and leopard’s footprints and made it viral on social media, after which farmers are now afraid of working in the fields and people of the villages situated on the edge of the forest are also afraid of the leopard terror.

About a week ago, a leopard had attacked a farmer’s servant and seriously injured him in village Dangrol of Kandhla police station area. The villagers had informed the Forest Department officials about this attack, but the efforts of the Forest Department to catch the leopard failed.

Now, after leopard footprints were found in the forests of Garhi Rajpur and Chhajpur, once again the terror of leopard has increased in this area, due to which farmers and villagers are scared.

Question on negligence of forest department

Although the forest department had tried to catch the leopard for several days, they were not successful. On this, the villagers allege that the Forest Department is only supplying food and is not taking concrete steps to stop the leopard menace. Due to this carelessness, the fear of leopard has increased among the villagers and farmers are afraid to work in their fields.
