On Friday, Sadar MLA Yogesh Verma, Dhaurahara MLA Vinod Shankar Awasthi and Kasta MLA Saurabh Singh ‘Sonu’, Gola MLA Aman Giri, Manju Tyagi, Nighayan MLA Shanshak Verma, District President Sunil Singh had met Principal Secretary Home Sanjay Prasad. Sanjay had assured to convey his message to the Chief Minister. However, no clear answer was given on removal of IPS Saha or taking any other action against him.

First know the three big reasons for dispute between SP and MLAs

1- Slap Yogesh Verma publicly

This photo is of October 9, when BJP MLA Yogesh Verma was slapped in Lakhimpur.

The dispute between SP Ganesh Prasad Saha and BJP MLAs started from October 9. There was the election of Urban Cooperative Bank. The camp of outgoing chairman Pushpa Singh and former chairman Manoj Aggarwal was in the field. Both of them reached the Cooperative Bank office with their respective delegates to file nominations.

Sadar MLA Yogesh Verma alleges that the lawyers tore the nomination papers of Raju Agarwal, the candidate supported by the Manoj Agarwal camp. Beat them. When the MLA came to know about this, he reached the spot. Seeing the MLA, Pushpa Singh’s husband Advocate Awadhesh Singh got angry.

Before the MLA could understand anything, Awadhesh Singh slapped the MLA. This incident took place in the presence of police and administrative officials. A video of this was also revealed.

Sadar MLA said- remove the Kotwal…but no action was taken MLA Yogesh Verma held the police responsible for this entire incident. He demanded the SP to remove Kotwal Amber Singh, but no action was taken against the Kotwal. This matter was also opposed by the MLAs of Lakhimpur.

2- Dhaurahara MLA from Kotwal had told about the threat to his life.

BJP MLA from Dhaurahra seat Vinod Shankar Awasthi had told the DM-SP in the meeting of in-charge minister Ashish Patel that there was a threat to his life. Alleged that Dhaurahara Inspector Dinesh Singh is working for SP MP Anand Bhadauria. He has become a threat to their lives. He demanded the SP to remove the inspector, but he too was not heard.

3- Firing on MLA Saurabh Singh, he narrowly escaped.

On January 1, there was firing on BJP MLA Saurabh Singh ‘Sonu’. He narrowly escaped death. The incident took place when the MLA had gone out for a walk with his wife on Wednesday night. After the incident, the accused fled while firing.

The incident took place 100 meters away from the MLA’s house. Saurabh Singh is MLA from Kasta. Wife Khushboo Singh is the block chief from Mitauli. The MLA’s house is in Shiv Colony of Sadar Kotwali. He lives with his father, former Rajya Sabha MP Jugal Kishore.

Senior police officers immediately reached the spot after receiving information about firing on the MLA. Police searched the surrounding CCTV. Sadar Kotwal Amber Singh said- Some people were detained. According to the SP, the accused admitted to misbehaving with the MLA, but denied the firing.

MLA’s former MP father got angry at CO

Former MP Jugul Kishore got angry at the CO itself.

On January 3 i.e. Friday, BJP MLA from Lakhimpur Kheri Saurabh Singh reached CO City to investigate the firing on Sonu. MLA’s father and former MP Jugul Kishore got angry at the CO. He said- Know my status. IG and DIG have been removed within an hour.

Former MP and BJP spokesperson Jugul Kishore told CO City Ramesh Tiwari – I put forward my point in front of the Chief Minister. You guys don’t deserve to live here. SP said- There is no such thing as rift with MLAs

SP Ganesh Prasad Saha said, there is no rift with any MLA on any issue. There is clear discussion on every topic with everyone in a formal manner. The suggestions given are also implemented. There may be some anger over the immediate incident, but the police has worked out the incident that happened with the MLA.

The youth seen in CCTV have been detained by the police. Both the youths have admitted to misbehaving with the MLA, but there has been no confirmation of any incident like firing yet. The police is investigating every aspect very closely and sensitively.
