Prayagraj Police has arrested 5 members of an online fraud gang. The five arrested criminals were working as handlers for a gang from Bihar. The people of the village would take Aadhaar card in the name of opening an account. After this, those accounts can be opened through Aadhaar card.

The joint police team of Nawabganj police station and SOG surveillance cell Ganganagar trapped and caught these miscreants. According to Assistant Police Commissioner Jang Bahadur Yadav, when interrogated, the arrested accused told that we used to take Aadhaar cards from innocent village people by luring them with money in exchange for opening bank accounts. By forging them, they used to create fake Aadhaar cards and open accounts in various banks. Those accounts were sold at high prices to cyber fraud gangs in Bihar.

3. Nikhil Shukla, son of Durga Prasad, resident of village Ismailpur police station Soraon Prayagraj.
4. Sandeep Kumar Saroj, son of Lal Bahadur Saroj, resident of village Biranpur, police station Mandhata, district Pratapgarh.
5. Mohd. Mukim Salman, son of Mohd. Moin, resident of village Kulhipur, police station Mandhata, district Pratapgarh.
