During the trailer launch of Sky Force, Khiladi Kumar reacted to his box office failures in 2024. He also talked about Sarfira, and said that it one of his ‘best films’ despite its flop.
During the trailer launch of Sky Force, Akshay Kumar was asked about having a tough year at the box office. He replied that it’s not happening for the first time, but he believes that one must keep on working hard, despite the failures. He said that this is what he keeps telling himself, and to everyone around him. He further revealed that many people suggested that he should resort to doing only 1-2 films a year. However, he refuses to do so, because he has built his career based on pure hard work.
“Mujhe kai log aake bolte hain ki aap 1-2 films kar lo bas maximum. Main bolta hu ki main agar kaam kar sakta hu, toh kyu na karu? Maine apna career banaya hai is base pe, puri mehnat aur lagan se. Kai logon ne ye bhi kaha ki aisi filmein chhod do karna, you know content-based films. Lekin main nahi chhodna chahta. (Many people advise me to do 1-2 films maximum, in a year. I said that if I can work, then why not? I have built my career on the basis of pure hard work and dedication. Many people also suggested that I should stop making content-based films. But I don’t want to stop),” said Akshay Kumar. He added that he wants to continue being a part of diverse films.
Akshay Kumar Calls Sarfira One Of His ‘Best Films’ Despite Its Flop

It is one of my best films.” Sarfira, which released in theatres on 12th July 2024, stars Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal and Radhika Madan.
