Due to dense fog in Gonda district since this morning, visibility has reduced to just 10 meters. Due to fog, people across the district had to face a lot of problems. Especially those driving on the roads had to face great difficulties.

The severe cold is also getting stronger in Gonda district due to which the cold has increased further. Due to the cold, people remained hiding in their homes, while those who came out had to wear warmer clothes to protect themselves from the cold. Due to drop in temperature, normal life of people was affected, especially school children and elderly people are facing difficulty in going out.
Traffic was also affected on railways and roadways where passengers faced delays and trains were also reaching Gonda station late by several hours. According to the Meteorological Department, dense fog may persist in Gonda for the next few days, due to which the cold may increase further.
The Meteorological Department has appealed to the people to be cautious, especially the drivers. In view of this weather condition, the district administration has advised people to stay safe by staying at home.
