On Monday, a fierce fight broke out between two parties in Chintaura village of Tanda police station area of Ambedkar Nagar over a dispute over goats eating leaves of crops grown in the fields. In this incident, Shahnawaz of one of the parties was seriously injured, who died during treatment late in the night.

On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and took the body into custody and in view of the tension in the area, police force has been deployed.

A dispute started on Monday in Chintaura of Tanda police station area over eating of crop leaves in goat fields. This dispute took place between Shahnawaz and the family members of Peter alias Sultan from the other side. The matter escalated so much that both sides attacked each other with sharp weapons and sticks.
Half a dozen people injured from both sides
About half a dozen people from both sides were injured in this fight. When the police arrived, the injured were admitted to the hospital. But Shahnawaz died late in the night during treatment. The news of the youth’s death created panic among the family members.
The police have taken the body into their custody and sent it for post-mortem. Kotwal Deepak Raghuvanshi said that an accused has been detained in connection with the incident and investigation into the matter is going on.
