A special campaign is being run under the leadership of Superintendent of Police Dhawal Jaiswal to prevent road accidents in Fatehpur. Under this, the traffic police took strict action against overloaded trucks, vehicles traveling in the wrong direction and entering no entry lanes.

Traffic police in-charge Lalji Savita said that 25 vehicles were challaned by running a campaign on Nawabag bypass, Lodhiganj and Lucknow bypass of the city. Cases of no entry and overloading violations were found in these vehicles. A fine of Rs 5 lakh was collected in this campaign conducted on Tuesday.
Strict warning: vehicles will be seized In-charge Lalji Savita clarified that if the drivers are found breaking the rules of no entry or overloading again, their vehicles will be seized. This action was taken after the complaint of the Truck Union Operator Association, in which it was said that the vehicles were going in the wrong direction instead of the prescribed route from Nauwabagh Jail Road turn.
