Bumrah can become ICC Player of the Month: Cummins and Patterson also in the race; Mandhana’s name included in women’s cricketer list

Jasprit Bumrah took 32 wickets in 5 tests against Australia.
Jasprit Bumrah can win the ICC Player of the Month award for his performance in December. Along with him, ICC has also nominated South African bowler Dan Patterson and Australian captain Pat Cummins. Among women cricketers, India’s Smriti Mandhana is also in the race. Along with her, Australia’s Annabel Sutherland and South Africa’s Ann Malaba have also been nominated.
Bumrah took 22 wickets in 3 matches Jasprit Bumrah played 3 Tests against Australia in December. In these he took 22 wickets in his name. He took 18 wickets in Melbourne and Brisbane. He could take only 4 wickets in Adelaide, because Australia won the match by batting only 2 overs in the second innings.

Patterson took 13 wickets, Cummins took 17 wickets Dan Patterson of South Africa is also included in the race for Player of the Month. He took 13 wickets in just 2 tests against Sri Lanka and Pakistan. Whereas Australia captain Pat Cummins took 17 wickets in 3 tests against India. Bumrah’s performance was better among the three players, hence he can win this award.
Mandhana scored 463 runs India’s opening batsman Smriti Mandhana played 9 matches in December and scored 463 runs. He also scored a century against Australia. He then scored 50+ scores in 5 consecutive matches against West Indies. He scored 270 runs in ODI and 193 runs in T-20.

Annabel Sutherland also in the race On the other hand, Annabel Sutherland of Australia took 9 wickets in 5 matches and also scored 269 runs. Whereas South African spinner Nonkululeko Malaba took 12 wickets in just 4 matches. Mandhana and Sutherland seem to be on top in the race to win the award.
