After the protest, the farmers of BKU Tikait faction have sent a memorandum to the Prime Minister and the Chief Minister through the District Magistrate. BKU has demanded that the loans of the farmers should be immediately waived off so that the debt-ridden farmers are not forced to commit suicide. Farmer leaders said that they have not come here to ask for anything. Rather they have come to snatch their rights. If the government does not accept the demands, the farmers will again take to the streets and march towards Delhi.
