Police are investigating from multiple angles in the murder of nine-year-old Lucky who was kidnapped from outside his house in Modipuram, Meerut. Someone had called Lucky’s mother and told her that her son’s body was lying in the well.

In such a situation, the police is busy investigating who had called Lucky’s mother. The bag of Billincott company found on the spot belonged to a young man who worked with Lucky’s uncle Anil. Lucky, 9-year-old son of Akash Saxena, resident of Modipuram Phase 2, was a class 1 student. On December 28, Lucky was playing outside the house. He went missing under suspicious circumstances at 6.30 pm. When the child was not found even after a long search, the family lodged a missing complaint at Pallavapuram police station. The family had announced a reward of Rs 10,000 for anyone providing information about the child. On Tuesday afternoon, the family members reached the SSP office and demanded the recovery of the child. On Tuesday evening, the child’s body was found lying in a well, about 700 meters away from the house.
Six-seven people including uncle are being interrogated
A bag of Bilinkit company was found where the child’s body was found. After investigation, the police detained a youth from Pali village. This young man works for Bilinkit with Lucky’s uncle Anil. Apart from this young man, the police is also interrogating Lucky’s uncle. Police say that six youths are being detained and interrogated.
After a dispute with their mother, both the children lived with their uncle.
Akash Saxena works at a dhaba. Akash was married to Pooja 16 years ago. After marriage, they had two children, Dev and Lucky. Due to disputes between husband and wife, they got separated many years ago. Akash took the children to his brother Anil and mother’s house in Modipuram and started living there.
