After the accident, the truck driver tried to run away, but the villagers caught him on the spot. After the incident, the villagers blocked the road and started demanding action. After which Additional SP and CO Iglas Bhanware Diksha reached the spot and pacified the people by assuring them of strict action.

The deceased were going towards Iglas

Ramesh Chandra (50), son of Bhuri Ram, resident of Karika village of Iglas, was going towards Iglas on his Passion Pro bike at around 5:30 pm on Friday evening. He was on Aligarh Mathura road and had reached near village Hastapur. Then the truck coming from the front hit them from the front.

According to eyewitnesses, the truck was moving at a very high speed and carelessly. Due to the collision with the truck, Ramesh Chandra suffered serious injuries on his head and body and lost a lot of blood. Due to which he died on the spot. Police have sent the body for post-mortem and the matter is being investigated.

The truck is from Sikar, Rajasthan

The truck that hit the middle-aged man is registered in Sikar district of Rajasthan. The truck was being driven by Kamlesh son of Shyamlal, resident of village Etawah police station Phulera Rajasthan. He was caught on the spot and the police arrested him. A case is being registered against the accused.

Additional SP Bhanware Diksha said that prima facie the negligence of the truck driver has come to light. He was driving the truck at a very fast speed. The accused has been arrested and a case is being registered after taking the complaint.
