Last year, several reports claimed that the digital streaming giant had purchased the film’s streaming rights for a whopping Rs 105 crore.

Game Changer, the Ram Charan and Kiara Advani starrer political action has hit the theatres today, January 10. Helmed by Shankar, the film has opened to positive reviews from fans and critics alike, particularly for its engaging storyline, hardcore action sequences and stellar performances. Amid the film’s run at the theatres, several reports regarding Game Changer’s OTT release have surfaced online.

The Ram Charan and Kiara Advani starrer will exclusively premiere on the OTT giant Amazon Prime Video post-theatrical run. The official streaming date is yet to be announced by the makers.

Earlier, Amazon Prime Video had also announced the film’s OTT release after theatrical release on their platform via a post on X. The caption read, “An honest IAS officer battles political corruption through fair elections to change the game of governance. #GameChanger available post-theatrical release.”

As per Pinkvilla, the television rights of Game Changer have been bagged by Zee Studios.

Talking about the film, Game Changer revolves around the story of an IAS officer (played by Ram Charan), who fights against the corrupt political system he is a part of.

Backed by Dil Raju, the film also features SJ Suryah, Srikanth, Anjali, Samuthirakani, Jayram and Sunil in significant roles. The film has been released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada languages globally.

Previously, Pushpa 2 director Sukumar gave the first review of Game Changer at an event in Dallas and said, “I watched Game Changer with Chiranjeevi sir. The first half was awesome. Interval, blockbuster. Trust me. The second half of the flashback episode gave me goosebumps. Phenomenal.”

Meanwhile, talking about other projects, Ram Charan will be next seen in director Buchi Babu Sana’s upcoming film tentatively titled RC16 opposite actress Janhvi Kapoor.

Kiara, on the other hand, will be next seen in War 2 with Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR. Helmed by Ayan Mukerji, the film is among the most anticipated films of 2025. It will be released in the theatres in August 2025.
