When the firing suddenly started, the BJP leader quickly drove away and saved his life by hiding inside the car. On receiving information about the incident, the regional police immediately reached the spot and started investigating the matter. At the same time, the police has also started interrogating the people nearby.

Suspected accused are also seen in CCTV. Based on this the police is conducting its investigation.

The accused fired half a dozen

Uday Thakur, son of Ratan Thakur, resident of Chikavati village of Lodha police station area, told the police that he was going towards his home on Friday. He was in his Scorpio car. He had reached near his house when suddenly some bike riders came around him.

Before he could understand anything he started firing. Due to which they first drove the car at high speed and then the accused went away and hid inside the car. Hearing the sound of firing, nearby people came out, after which the accused fled from the spot. Now the police is searching for them.

While trying to escape to save his life, the car also got damaged. There are bullet marks at many places in the vehicle.

Suspects are seen in CCTV

After the incident, the police looked at the surrounding CCTV cameras. In which the BJP leader is seen driving his car fast. Some bikes are coming from behind him, in which many youths are seen. This suspicious youth is being considered the accused.

Along with CCTV footage, police have started interrogating people in the surrounding area. The BJP leader has denied having any kind of rivalry with the police. However, the police have started investigating the case keeping all the aspects in mind.

CO Gabhana Sanjeev Tomar said that a case is being registered on the basis of the complaint. CCTVs are being scrutinized and soon the accused will be in police custody.
